I'm determined not to let the entire month go by before I get around to posting my May layouts for Cocoa Daisy this time. Tricia posted the DT gallery for the month over at the site tonight, so I think it's OK to put mine up here.
I have to admit, I was a little concerned with the purple. I generally don't scrap with purple. But as it turns out, I CAN scrap with purple and like the results. I used a lot of paint this month, especially for lettering. Here's the stuff I did...
I love the way the mini album turned out. I'm not sure where its title came from, but I suspect it has simething to do with Strong Bad calling Trogdor a wing-a-ling dragon. The album is mostly empty though, because we haven't had very many springy days yet. I'll put more stuff in it when I actually get outside more this spring.
My favorite LO is the first one...I love the picture of my Nana with Zach at the Woodstock Fair. I especially love my outfit in the picture. I really really love it. Like, a lot.

Another fab kit - Tricia is so good at this and truly a delight to work for. Speaking of which...CD is having a DT call. Check out the message board for details and try out! We're adding 2 designers. Exciting stuff.

But my big news is...the Dare book. I can finally share! I was so excited when Kristina asked me to contribute to this project. All the ladies involved are so talented and cool. Anyway, the book is out in August or thereabouts and is available for pre-order on Amazon, from whence I snatched this photo...
