I wish I could say I did something really cool for Halloween. I love dressing up. But I hardly ever go to Halloween parties. What did I do on Halloween night, in lieu of dressing up? Um, I went to Marshall's. Lame. But I got a new black cardigan, which I did kind of need. So it wasn't a complete waste of time, I guess. When I got home, I watched The Darjeeling Limited. I can't believe I waited so long to see it because I loved it. I expected I would. I love Wes Anderson. It kind of gave me a new appreciation for Adrien Brody... and also for The Kinks...
I suppose I never looked too far beyond Lola, which has become moderately annoying through over-exposure. Strangers is like my new favorite song. Today, I cooked this. Rachael Ray calls it "That's Shalotta Flavor Spaghetti" or some such nonsense. It's made with shallots - get it? OMG. Every other word out of her mouth is irritating but it's a really good recipe. I usually add fake sausage. I love the fake sausage. The November kit at Cocoa Daisy was revealed this weekend. It was designed by Stacy Julian. I got a whole bunch of the add-ons this month. I love how it all works together. It's a good one. I did a lot with it.
