Every once in a while I become fascinated by the idea of taking self portraits in the mirror. This one is in my $4 Goodwill mirror. My favorite part is the figurine. My Nana used to do a lot of work with ceramics - mostly from molds. She had a kiln in her basement. I've got a lot of her pieces, but this one is amongst my favorites - it's a copy of Michelangelo's Pieta. It was on my Mom's dresser for many years when I was growing up. She gave it to me recently and I put it on my dresser.
I focus on the figurine because when I look at myself in this picture, all I can see is that I really need a haircut.
