It used to be the day before Thanksgiving was a half day of school. Kind of a useless half day, because most of it involved a pep rally and the rest of it involved trying to contain the students, who were of the opinion that they couldn't possibly be expected to do any work on a half day/pep rally day.
For the past few years, we've had it completely off. The pep rally is at the end of the day on Tuesday, and they still have a full morning of classes. I think it works a lot better that way.
In any case, I had Wednesday off last week. I had already decided that I wouldn't go to Boston until Wednesday evening, so I could spend the day Wednesday getting stuff done around my house. Then, Tuesday evening my computer crashed, leaving me with no way to procrastinate on Wednesday. I think it may be dead for good this time. Anyway, this confluence of events allowed me to be SUPER-PRODUCTIVE on Wednesday. I went through all of my craft supplies and weeded out so much stuff! I got rid of entire bins of stuff that I don't or won't use. And I reorganized the entire space. Since I'm planning on moving soon, it's really important that I clear out as much unnecessary stuff as possible. The less I have to move, the better.
I still have a lot of stuff, but it's much tidier and more organized. I'll take some more pictures of the re-worked craft space soon.
I may even move on to my clothes closet!
